Rural Shed Rebuild Assistance

Sometime rainbows are shaped by many helping hands

Lions have been working with our Social Justice Advocates, Connecting Communities Australia and Rotary colleagues rebuilding sheds lost in the devastating bushfires of 2019/2020.

For those in our community still struggling to recover, these are not merely sheds, they provide the basics of shelter, a bathroom, water tank and septic tank.

This community led project is funded through a joint grant to, The Social Justice Advocate, Rotary, Lions, Bega Valley Shire Council and Connecting Communities Australia and is having a significant impact. In total, 14 sheds required replacing. So far, 7 sheds have been rebuilt or are in the process of being constructed.
